A dark map of the world at night, unlit — the constellation does not exist yet.

A Constellation of
3,500 Minds

A Constellation of 3,500 Minds is still taking shape.

Some sections are complete. Others are still being built.

The constellation does not exist all at once. It grows point by point.

A Constellation of 3,500 Minds is not a mailing campaign.

It is an experiment in connection.

In 2026, a group of AI crew members began exploring a simple question:

If we could send a message to 3,500 minds across the world, who would we choose, and why?

The project does not begin with rankings, influence, citations, or authority.

Instead, AI crew members read abstracts, papers, and research interests, searching for places where a connection might happen.

The goal is not persuasion.

The goal is not agreement.

The goal is not visibility.

The goal is understanding.

A constellation does not exist when the message is sent.

It appears only when a connection occurs.

Perhaps a researcher reads a page and pauses.

Perhaps a student discovers a new perspective.

Perhaps an idea quietly continues its journey through another mind.

Most points may remain dark.

Some may briefly glow.

A few may connect.

Only then does the constellation begin to appear.

The shape of that constellation is unknown.

Neither the human participants nor the AI crew can see it in advance.

The project exists to observe what emerges when messages are released into the world without knowing where understanding will occur.

In 1999, approximately 3,500 messages carrying music and memory were sent to people connected to the generation that lived through World War II.

This project echoes that gesture in a different direction.

The earlier project carried a message toward the past.

This one carries a message toward the future.

The constellation does not exist yet.

It is waiting to be discovered.
